I have Lymphedema which is not curable but definitely manageable. The manual lymph drainage is the most important component of the management. This drainage of fluid that builds up can be done with pumps that wrap around my legs or you can have a massage therapist who helps move it. I have both and have found the personal touch of the therapist far outweighs any success I might have had with the pump. Gladys Beavers is a MASTER at knowing what I need and what therapy moves to use. She is incredibly knowledgeable about Lymphedema and I trust her completely.
